My blog is new. I need 10 article posts for my blog. How much should I pay for it?

“What if I’ve already deleted those placeholder posts? What if I’ve posted a few posts already?”

This is your first actual post — the first piece of ‘meat’ for your blog. Open it and fill it with pre-prepared copy.
Once you’ve done the above, copy and paste the above into a new static page (“About”), edit it here and there, and publish. Add a link into your blog menu for the About.
You can contact me below (for blog and off-blog matters) or use the Contact Form (click here).
The About page will always be your blog’s most-viewed item and click magnet.
The 4th, 5th and 6th placeholder posts
Oh, well done, bruv. You’ve made the second biggest blogging mistake.
Even news agencies like AP, Reuters, AFP, etc (with hundreds of reporters each worldwide) have their own overall ‘corporate’ and ‘news’ persona or voice.
I am the author and owner of Ramen Freak. I work in Windows and Linux mobile computing for a boring, colorless, publicly listed corporation in East Coast USA. I live with Janet (my wife since 1985) and two whimsical cats the size of battle tanks in the lush concrete suburbs of Anytown, Anystate. My wife isn’t ‘big’ on noodles though. Oh well…
English is the blog’s language, but other languages may appear occasionally (hopefully with an English translation).
It’s that straightforward.
Example:—
how frequent the blog is updated (i.e. what is your posting day — every Tuesday at 8 p.m. is a good starting point)
I want to touch my sister’s boobs. What do I say?
This blog was born on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 7:21 p.m. EST (23:21 UTC).
Open them and fill with pre-prepared copy.
The first placeholder post is typically headlined “Hello, world!” with no content. Leave it alone. This is your blog’s birth certificate. It helps the search engines to ‘notice’ the launch of your blog.
Who your blog is aimed at, or who might be interested
This is because you’re meant to fill them with pre-prepared copy (text and pictures).
If you’ve just launched your blog, it should already have 3–6 empty placeholder posts autogenerated by the platform or system.
THE 1ST PLACEHOLDER POST: ‘Hello, world!’
Whatever the editorial window or niche, your blog has a ‘voice.’ That voice is you.
Just carry on from where you are. Stay on target, Luke.
The biggest mistake any blogger could make is producing a blog that has no voice — no persona, no personality, no flavour and no perspective behind the words.

Why do people stay in cults after they have joined?
If you’re running a hobby-horse blog, you generally don’t pay because then you’d be inviting people to guest-post out of interest.
your general commenting policy
Who you are — you don’t have to disclose your identity, but there must be a person even with a pseudonym (not anonymous) for attracting readers and subscribers

THE 2ND PLACEHOLDER POST
Open it for editing. Fill it with your own text on:—
On the balance of all practical probabilities, it’s easier (and cheaper) to write your own stuff.
Comments close on all posts after 28 days. Comments should be in English as far as possible, although all languages are welcomed. Comments once posted cannot be retracted or removed, so please comment at your own risk.
I hope you didn’t delete them.
I welcome submissions of recipes, stories and photos. Please discuss with me. I am prepared to pay US$1 per word for unique, eye-catching pieces.
Your blog’s editorial window (“niche,” although that’s the wrong word) — what your blog is generally about or tends to focus on
Your writing doesn’t have to be perfect for a blog. It only needs to be reasonably readable — and reasonably formatted (which you still have to do anyway even for a piece written by someone else).
the blog’s launch date and time
the blog’s main language
There’s no point in backtracking. Don’t bother to re-create those placeholder posts.
The second placeholder post is empty. Use it to introduce your blog and yourself.
Your contact details (email at a minimum)
Addressing your question more directly:—
Never mind what the Internet is telling you. The starting rate is US$1 per word for a 300–500-word piece (with minimum 3 photos) that’s unique and exclusive to your blog — with a 30%–50% kill rate for submitted but cancelled acceptance.
UH-OH…
You need to understand why you yourself should be doing the writing for your own blog — certainly for the first two years.
You can expect to pay up to US$7 a word with experienced writers or bloggers (with 10+ years’ experience) — same as magazine writing rates.
The 3rd placeholder post
Every day, around 7 million blog posts are published on the Internet. You’re fighting for attention and breathing space even with a voice.
This blog updates every Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST (midnight UTC, Wednesday).
